Abstract (in English)

The proposed paper will discuss and present the challenge to maintain the character of a city created on the XX Century with its main character as an resort town done mainly with buildings from the Modern Movement and its characteristic Art Deco, been actually the largest concentration of buildings from that architectural period in the world, in the City of Miami Beach in South Florida and its Art Deco Historic District.
