abstractPaper presented during the ICLAFI – ICUCH Symposium, 29th June – 1st July 2017, Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands Amersfoort, The Netherlands This paper explains how the national legislation concerning maritime heritage and underwater archaeology was adopted quite recently in Sweden, compared to the rest of the archaeological heritage. The different laws and acts are hereby presented with a critical analysis.
