Abstract (in English)

The restoration of modern architecture is a current cultural and scientific subject matter. The architectural work of Obregon & Valenzuela for the Club Campestre of Ibagué was studied at the summer course held at the Universidad de Ibague, Colombia in August 2011.. Designed in 1954, the Club Campestre of Ibagué has suffered many changes over the years and additions have altered the original design and style. The purpose of the course was to analyze the reasons for these changes and to propose solutions to enhance an important work of modern architecture in the Department of Tolima. Key Words: restoration of modern architecture, integrated conservation, education.
