This compilation is presented to provide the different actors involved in the management, promotion, education, outreach and guidance Facatativá Archaeological Park (administrative staff, lookouts equity, guides, teachers, students, etc.). bases necessary for proper documentary Interpreting as a reference first hand where they can enter the large bibliographic and documentary Facatativá Archaeological Park. Although extensive, this compilation is not exhaustive and does not represent the only and last word of the signifcación realize this particular and important place of cultural and natural heritage Colombian leave readers to consider the contents of this compilation, we expect illustrious , expand or incites deeper knowledge on the various aspects and significant elements contained in the Park: its geographical, natural history, archaeological investigations that account for the first inhabitants of the plain of Bogota, the chronicles of the Muisca compiled by the Spanish, visual memory trancripciones representing about his paintings that have been done in over 150 years, and the various versions of researchers, oral tradition and the meanings they represent to the present inhabitants of Facatativá, visitors and communities indigenous, or autoreconocidas as such, who come to this place motivated by the scenic, natural, historical, scientific and even spiritual it entails.
Se presenta esta compilación con el fin de proporcionar a los diferentes actores involucrados en el manejo, promoción, educación, divulgación y guianza del Parque Arqueológico de Facatativá (personal administrativo, vigias de patrimonio, guías, profesores,estudiantes, etc.) las bases documentales necesarias para una adecuada interpetación y como un referente de primera mano donde se puedan introducir al gran acervo bibliográfico y documental sobre el Parque Arqueológico de Facatativá. Aunque extensa, esta compilación no pretende ser completa ni representa la única y última palabra que da cuenta de la signifcación de este particular e importante lugar del patrimonio cultural y natural colombiano; dejamos a consideración de los lectores los contenidos de esta compilación, que esperamos ilustre, amplíe o incite a profundizar en el conocimiento sobre los diversos aspectos y elementos significativos contenidos en el Parque: su contexto geográfico, su historia natural, las investigaciones arqueológicas que dan cuenta de los primeros pobladores de la sabana de Bogotá, las crónicas sobre los muiscas recopiladas por los españoles, la memoria visual que representan las trancripciones que sobre sus pinturas se han hecho en más de 150 años, o las diversas versiones de investigadores, la tradición oral y las significaciones que representan para los actuales habitantes de Facatativá, visitantes y comunidades indígenas, o autoreconocidas como tales, que acuden a este lugar motivados por los valores paisajísticos, naturales, históricos, científicos e incluso espirituales que este encierra.
