Résumé (en anglais)

The presentation of the candidature of climate vineyards of Burgundy in a symposium on serial properties necessarily raises questions about the nature of the property, the category to which it belongs. Climates: are they serial properties, a cultural landscape, a cultural site? To answer this question we need from the Outstanding Universal Value (OUV): the climates are the result of a gradual historical and cultural construction. The scope that we will present reflects the foundations of OUV. Cultural Construction in the end, and this is the most important, a comprehensive system of organization of a territory, with its historical dynamics, its operating logic, his vineyard, its components with its fragmented if structuring course but its interdependence with urban centers that are inseparable him. I would like to emphasize the importance of the materiality of the property that we present to registration and therefore we particularly worked on identifying attributes of this property. Attributes you will find detailed under several headings. We briefly return to the definition of climate for those who still would think that when it comes to Burgundy climates, we raise our eyes to heaven.

La présentation de la candidature des climats du vignoble de Bourgogne dans un colloque sur les biens en série conduit nécessairement à s’interroger sur la nature du bien, la catégorie à laquelle il appartient. Les climats : sont-ils des biens en série, un paysage culturel, un site culturel? Pour répondre à cette question il nous faudra partir de la Valeur Universelle Exceptionnelle (VUE) : les climats sont le résultat d’une construction historique et culturelle progressive. Le périmètre que nous allons vous présenter reflète parfaitement les fondements de la VUE. Construction culturelle au final, et c’est le plus important, d’un système global d’organisation d’un territoire, avec ses dynamiques historiques, ses logiques de fonctionnement, son exploitation viticole, ses éléments constitutifs avec son parcellaire si structurant bien évidemment mais aussi son interdépendance avec les centres urbains qui lui sont indissociables. Je voudrais insister sur l’importance de la matérialité du bien que nous présentons à l’inscription et nous avons donc particulièrement travaillé sur l’identification des attributs de ce bien. Attributs que vous trouverez détaillés sous plusieurs rubriques. Nous reviendrons brièvement sur la définition du terme de climat pour ceux qui penseraient encore qu’en Bourgogne quand on parle de climats on lève les yeux au ciel.
