Abstract (in English)

The rock art in Colombia, as trace material that allows rebuild and disclose the origins and cultural trajectories of the past, It makes the Colombian archaeological heritage and therefore is declared as Bien deInteres Cultural del ámbito Nacional (BICN), why which is protected by a regulatory regime that aims for its protection and preservation. However, this recognition has not been enough to mitigate the increasing alteration and destruction to being viewed subjected due to multiple agents and economic and social dynamics that affected. The paintings and engravings are unsigned in brackets stone whose relationship with their environment should be addressed to the management and protection, comprehensively, in its material aspect and in its cultural significance; so it is proposed here conceive the concept larger rock art sites (Sitios con Arte Rupestre - SAR), and for which, based on a Diagnostic management in Colombia, a set of guidelines formulated (In research, conservation, disclosure, management and protection legislation) to support equity initiatives activation through actions that prioritize social appropriation and sustainable use, as strategy for its protection and conservation in the future.
