The 7th ICOMOS General Assembly took place in Dresden during May 1984. Administrative and financial decisions regarding ICOMOS functioning were taken such as elections of the different committees. Besides, various office members' actions were presented such as a report on Rostock-Dresden Symposium organized to promote its preservation activities.
