Abstract (in English)

Report of the National Meeting of World Heritage Property Managers (San Miguel de Allende, August 2016). During the meeting, an action plan was built up, designed to fit the specific context of the Region and to answer to the the needs identified by the States Parties, translated in terms of actions and priority activities for the next decade. It also aims to define a strategic action agenda, of an experimental nature, in order to generate good practices in the Region. The goal is to consider heritage as a factor for sustainable development, which contributes to improve the people's quality of life in Latin America and the Caribbean, reduce poverty, promote gender equality, and diversity, both cultural and natural.
