Résumé (en anglais)

This report was established after William R. Chapman and Robertson E. Collins' mission in the indian cities of Bombay and Pune in January 1992. This mission aimed at making recommendations regarding the future conservation and preservation needs in these cities according to the methods used for conservation in the USA. It focused attention on local problems.
