This paper mainly discusses the rethinking of tangible and intangible cultural heritage under the effect of large water conservancy projects, and its impact on the assessment and the protection strategy, which is illustrated by the conservation of the World Cultural Heritage--the Yuzhen Palcace, a part of Ancient Architecural Complex in the Wudang Mountain.
