Abstract (in English)

The paper presents various aspects of heritage management system in Slovenia including levels of statuoty protection as defined by the Heritage Protection Act and various spatial planning tools. It considers Cutural Heritage Information System as an important tool for heritage identification and interpretation, By analysing the weak areas of current heritage management in Slovenia, it also suggests methods to tackle each.
