Résumé (en anglais)

The present report aims to build on this work as a contribution to both the European Framework for Action on Cultural Heritage (2018) and the EU’s Nature Action Plan for Nature, People and the Economy (2017). It explores the spatial overlaps between natural and cultural heritage in Europe, their perceived values to society and the threats and challenges they both face. It goes on to investigate the elements that are preventing or inhibiting greater cooperation between the two before outlining the potential role natural and cultural heritage can play in building a more sustainable greener economy for all.
