Cultural heritage is an inheritance from our ancestors that identifies us as part of a social collective. The Colombian Army, with its more than 200 years of tradition, is recognized as one of the most representative institutions that contributes to the national identity, through the multiple expressions of its military culture and the great heritage it possesses. This publication contains different aspects that need to be disseminated so that the entire ESMIC community and the general public have access to basic knowledge about concepts in the field of Cultural Heritage and Military Cultural Heritage, its regulations, the history of the School Military, its types of patrimony and some guidelines for its management. In addition, the reader will find a map with interactive access to navigate through the School and learn more about this diverse cultural heritage of the Colombian Army and the entire Nation.
