Abstract (in English)
With the support of the Governor of Cundinamarca, the Institute of Culture and Tourism IDECUT and the Municipality of Choachí, there has been a first research and cataloging of rock art in this county. Area where there were already some references of this heritage from previous decades. Thus, the "Rock Art in Choachí" (agreement 461 of 2013) project has enabled GIPRI (Research Group of indigenous rock art heritage) conducting prospecting works and recording a lot of sites with rock art . This documentation consists of detailed and precise in specialized formats for recording this cultural property, which is characteristic of the work carried out by the research group (Muñoz & TRUJILLO 2009). It is performed in documentation formats of the areas studied, formats description of each of the sites studied and the conservation diagnostic . Additionally, it includes and organizes this information in the official format of the archaeological heritage of the nation, for the Colombian Institute of Archaeology and History, ICAHN. In this final report also provides a database containing full information on deposits: identification code of the site, which allows reference department, town, village, area mode (petroglyph or pictograph), number of rock; geo-referencing (GPS coordinates), facility name and owner; the dimensions of the rocks (height, length and width), along with altitude and orientation of the field.
ARTE RUPESTRE EN CHOACHI, COLOMBIA. Con el apoyo de la Gobernación de Cundinamarca, el Instituto de Cultura y Turismo IDECUT y la Alcaldía Municipal de Choachí, se ha realizado un primer trabajo de investigación y catalogación del arte rupestre de este municipio. Zona en la cual existían ya algunas referencias de este patrimonio, desde décadas anteriores. Así, el proyecto “Arte Rupestre en Choachí”, (convenio 461 de 2013) ha permitido al equipo GIPRI (Grupo de investigación del patrimonio rupestre indígena) realizar labores de prospección y registro de una buena cantidad de yacimientos con arte rupestre. Esta documentación consiste en la descripción detallada y precisa en formatos especializados para el registro de este bien cultural, que es propio del trabajo llevado a cabo por el grupo de investigación (MUÑOZ & TRUJILLO 2009 ). Se realiza en fichas de documentación de las zonas estudiadas, fichas de descripción de cada uno de los yacimientos estudiados y fichas del diagnóstico de conservación de los mismos. Adicionalmente, se incluye y organiza esta información en el formato de ficha única para el registro de Bienes Inmuebles pertenecientes al patrimonio arqueológico de la nación, del Instituto Colombiano de Arqueología e Historia Nacional, ICAHN. En este informe final se entrega también una base de datos que contiene la información completa de los yacimientos: código de identificación del yacimiento, que permite referenciar departamento, municipio, vereda, zona modalidad (petroglifo o pictografía), número de roca; geo-referenciación (coordenadas GPS), nombre del predio y del propietario; las dimensiones de las rocas (alto, largo y ancho), junto con la altitud y la orientación del yacimiento.
