Abstract (in English)
The University Forum derived from an idea launched by Gustavo Araoz at the Fukuoka Advisory Meeting in October 2015, and it would aim to gather universities and other affinity cultural institutions that would collaborate in accomplishing the mission of ICOMOS. It would constitute a flexible operational forum that would address a “seriously weakening gap” in ICOMOS composition, namely the absence of the fourth sector of the international heritage community: the universities and academic institutions.
