Abstract (in English)
In Esztergom, the royal castle of the Middle Ages, later archbishop's palace, destroyed in the Turkish wars, was discovered in the years 1934-1938. The restoration was immediately followed by the archaeological excavations. In addition to maintaining the original walls, we were able to apply the anastylosis method and supplements.
