Abstract (in English)

Over 300 camps for restoration of ancient buildings are open in France in holiday periods, for around 10.000 young people aged from 13 to 30 and over. Community life helps individuals to discover their own personalities and encourages communication with others. Exchanges between volunteers from different countries are increasing.
