Abstract (in English)

Before the days of richness due to the oil, there was a natural balance between the income and the way of living which shaped the Traditional Makkah with its Mascid al Haram and Kaaba, its Mosques, its houses, its streets, its shops, its valleys and mountains. After the petro-boom there have been an overflow of incomes to Saudi Arabia and to Makkah, which changed completely its shape and character.
