Abstract (in English)
The Socialist Republic of Slovenia, located in the North-West of Yugoslavia, possesses interesting archaeological sites which earned for themselves a place in early European history by the end of the past century, and attention was attracted again by a number of archaeological discoveries during recent decades. The sites that are particularly important are those from the late paleolithic, the early Bronze and late Iron Age, a few larger sites from Roman period, and from the early Middle Ages.
