Abstract (in English)

This paper, which looks at the needs and options in the training of professionals in conservation skills sees the principal needs as being training to fit the constituent professions in a multidisciplinary team to work as a whole. Firstly by bringing into each separate discipline those conservation elements that are missing from the basic training of its members and secondly, deliberately to train each in the relationship it will have with others so that there may be understanding between the professions of the parts played by their co-members of the professional team.
