Abstract (in English)
This article discusses the course and the challenges of ACIR (Association of Interregional Cooperation The routes of Santiago de Compostela), created in 1990 by three regions: Aquitaine, Languedoc Roussillon and Midi Pyrenees to enhance the way to Saint-Jacques -de Compostela. ACIR seeks to develop roaming on the roads to Santiago serving local communities and the general public through editing actions, training, cultural productions, information public, etc.
Cet article évoque le parcours et les enjeux de l’ACIR (Association de Coopération Interrégionale les Chemins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle) créée en 1990 par trois régions : Aquitaine, Languedoc Roussillon et Midi Pyrénées pour valoriser les chemins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. L’ACIR œuvre à développer l’itinérance sur les chemins de Compostelle au service des collectivités locales et du grand public au travers d’actions d’édition, de formation, de productions culturelles, d’information des publics et etc.
