Abstract (in English)
The topic of this paper was born in the field of programming a specialization course on historical centers carried out by the Faculty of Architecture Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México that, in its master lecture, sought to develop the theme of "urban biography". Concern on the biographical issue ate of the need to provide the appropriate reading tools to help young students understand the evolutionary aspects of the urban structure from its origins to the present times and thus define the reading criteria and fundamental analysis methods to support future projects. Analyzing the evolution of an urban structure is like rewriting an individual's story, that is, a biography in which many events and metamorphosis are intertwined.
