Abstract (in English)

The paper is a critical review of the two aspects of inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List that have a direct influence on the development of sites and monuments: i.the requirements of the Convention in respect of protection and management before nomination, and ii.the consequences of inscription on monuments and sites.
