Abstract (in English)

Paper presented during the ICLAFI – ICUCH Symposium, 29th June – 1st July 2017, Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands Amersfoort, The Netherlands This paper presents a historic survey of the legal protection of underwater cultural heritage in Sri Lanka with a focus on inter-disciplinarity and international cooperation as productive tools.
